Microsoft has announced a fresh batch of games that will be arriving on Game Pass this month. While not all of the games are brand new releases, there are some exciting additions for subscribers to look forward to. Some of the highlights include the arrival of Octopath Traveler, the popular HD-2D RPG released in 2018, and its sequel. Here is a rundown of the games coming to Game Pass in the first half of June 2024:

– Octopath Traveler – Available now
– Octopath Traveler 2 – Available now
– Depersonalization – June 12th
– Isonzo – June 13th
– The Callisto Protocol – June 13th
– Still Wakes The Deep – June 18th

The original Octopath Traveler first came to Game Pass in 2021 but left the platform in March the following year. Now, it is making a comeback to coincide with its release on PS4 and PS5. In addition, Octopath Traveler 2 is making its debut on the subscription service.

Analysis of the New Games

Octopath Traveler 2 may seem like a redundant addition for some players, as it offers a very similar experience to the original game. Despite its flaws and repetitive nature, there is an undeniable charm to the game that keeps players engaged. The intricate combat system and the stunning HD-2D world make it a worthwhile experience for JRPG fans.

One of the most intriguing additions to Game Pass this month is Still Wakes The Deep, set to be released on June 18th. This game comes from The Chinese Room, known for titles like Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture and the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. As the studio has evolved over the years, it will be interesting to see what unique experience they bring to the table with their latest offering.

Games Leaving Game Pass

With the arrival of new games, there comes the departure of some existing titles on Game Pass. On June 15th, the following games will be leaving the platform:

– Bramble: The Mountain King
– High On Life
– Rune Factory 4 Special
– Spacelines From The Far Out
– The Bookwalker

As the gaming library on Game Pass is constantly evolving, subscribers can expect a mix of new arrivals and departures each month. Be sure to check out these games before they leave the platform to make the most of your subscription.
