Recently, a federal judge in California made a significant decision to dismiss a lawsuit filed by X, previously known as Twitter, against Israel’s Bright Data. X accused Bright Data of scraping its data and selling it while circumventing X Corp.’s anti-scraping technology. The company asserted that it only scrapes publicly available data accessible to anyone without requiring a login.
