YouTube has recently introduced a new feature that allows creators to save music from the Shorts feed. This feature enables users to reuse Shorts audio in various applications. By simply clicking on the “Save Music” option in the Shorts UI, the chosen audio will be added to the user’s sounds folder. Previously, creators had to use workarounds to save Shorts music, but now, YouTube is making it easier for users to engage with music clips sourced from Shorts content. This enhancement not only expands music discovery on the platform but also provides creators with new avenues for generating content based on audio cues.

In addition to the music-saving feature, YouTube is now providing its recommendations in the “Inspiration” tab in YouTube Studio in three additional languages – Japanese, Korean, and Hindi. Originally known as the “Research” tab, the Inspiration tab offers AI content tips for creators. By entering a topic into the search bar, creators can receive ideas and notes based on their audience’s interests. Furthermore, YouTube’s AI system can generate a bullet-point video outline to help creators overcome creative blocks and come up with new content ideas.

YouTube has also rolled out a new desktop extension for creators participating in the YouTube shopping affiliate program. This extension allows creators to save products and compare commission rates while browsing on Chrome. It provides creators with a convenient way to list products in their YouTube videos, ultimately enhancing the shopping experience for viewers and creators alike.

Lastly, YouTube has updated its Creator Tips section in the YouTube Help Center to provide creators with more resources on channel management. This section offers guides and pointers on various aspects of maximizing a YouTube channel’s presence. The new content covers topics such as creation, discovery, and monetization strategies, offering valuable insights for creators looking to grow their audience and increase their revenue streams.

YouTube’s recent enhancements for creators demonstrate the platform’s commitment to supporting content creators and fostering a dynamic and engaging ecosystem for users. These new features and resources aim to empower creators to create high-quality content, discover new opportunities, and maximize their impact on the platform.
